    So far there’s been a fantastic response from club members wishing to join this trip. I have already confirmed the booking for the full hut so there are 20 beds available.

    The names on my list and prioritised in order of registering interest are below. The list does not include potential (non paid up) members who have expressed an interest in the trip. To guarantee your place please pay £30 into the club account and post on the forum when you have done so (I’ve paid). Payment is due by the end of August or your name will lose priority. If we have a turnout of more than 14 there will be a rebate which will be paid after the event when all beds used will be accounted for and final calculations complete. I will WhatsApp the club bank details because the forum is open to public view.

    There are more spaces available so anyone else interested is most welcome to put their name down but note that if we have more than 20 we will have to start a reserve list. If you are interested in coming please respond on the forum before Thursday.

    Detail of the trip can be worked out in a couple of weeks. At the moment I’m just anticipating a brilliant weekend away and making the most of the end of summer.

    Sounds like Andrew is going to be busy but I’ll be there…..Dacre Banks that is. This will be a great opportunity to meet other club members and get involved, express ideas and have a say in what you would like to see within the club. And enjoy a walk.

    WhatsApp can be used to organise lift sharing and on the day planning but can all members try to post here if they’re intending to come.

    Thursday evening’s curry night is going to be a big night out. A great opportunity to meet new people. There’s possibly room to fit a few more into the Viceroy so if you’re interested in coming please get in touch with Nathan ASAP.

    I’m aiming to be in the Cross Keys at about 5 for the first pre-dinner drink. I’ll post on WhatsApp to confirm so we can meet up with like-minded socialites.
