    Steve Murray and I are heading up on Thursday afternoon, optimistically aiming for an early start to Schneacda on Friday and see how things go after that. We are booked into Craigower Lodge for Thursday and Friday night. Could be a long drive for a short wet walk to the pub but we’ll have our climbing gear with us, just in case.

    Loch and myself are still looking at the weather and pondering. I think I’ll probably go up on Thursday lunchtime anyway and have to head south again on Sunday. Will have space in the car for one or two northbound or southbound if required.     Got some new cams and hexes today so I’ve got to give them a run out asap.

    time to make a rare appearance. I will be there. I’m planning to drive up on Thursday and back again on Sunday so if anyone wants to share the lift and go climbing on Friday/Sunday just let me know. Please book me in if you can for Friday + Saturday night at the Hut and I’ll sort out Thursday night one way or another.

    I was going to be working on Boxing Day. Not now. I’ll be bringing all the family along (if they can get out of bed) and will see you at Dufton. Have a great Christmas. Dave.
