I think you’ve got it Aaron.
Park in the hamlet of Conistone (with care) near a small triangular area with a seat. (We’ll be in Steves Saab). Just up from here, walk through a gate and up a path through a dry limestone gorge (Conistone Dib) with a couple of steppy bits. The path emerges into a wider grassy valley. The crag is up to the right, about 15 mins walk from the car. As you come through a stile and spot the crag, look out for a path going up the steep grassy slope on the right side.

Given the excellent weather, I think I can hear the Call of the Limestone.
The Retired Gents are considering leaving about 3pm and heading possibly to Bull Scar (Conistone). (This is only about the same distance from york as Scugdale – as I recollect – although traffic round Harrogate can be a problem later in the afternoon)

Peak Scar seems to have been nominated for Thursday evening… Tenk says he hasn’t been for a while. (The nettles and mud remain intact, however).
The Retired Gentlemen may head off in the afternoon, maybe to Park Nab and then renezvous at Peak Scar in the evening.
