Hi everyone, bit of an update and request for information.

The update- We won’t have sole occupancy of the hut and may be sharing it with lots of other people especially if the weather is good. This means that I can’t allow young people under 18 to stay over, or allow any dogs in the hut at all. The former for issues around safeguarding and the latter because of allergies. Please let me know if either of these mean you have to pull out.

The request for information- Can you reply with a bit about what you’d most like to do on the weekend if the weather is good? This is so you can identify like-minded people and I can think about routes.
    e.g. I’d like flat walks with a cafe/hilly walks over Welsh 3000ers/scrambling/bouldering/some practice trad climbing/easy multi-pitch/rare lichen

    Hi Oli
No dogs and I’m definitely over 18.

Weather permitting multipitch trad for me. Classics on East Tryfan, combo up the Idwal Slabs. Plenty of other options. If too damp then scrambling. Walking if all else fails.

As I’m not working on the Friday I’d be up for going over in the morning and doing something in the afternoon, if anyone else was interested.

    Hi,
My kids and I will join you. We’ll pitch a tent nearby and join in what we can. I have a rack and ropes and can lead some easy single-pitch climbs. I need a good belayer. The kids have harnesses and might decide to join in. If not climb we’ll do some easy walks. We’ll leave after school on Friday and mid-afternoon on Sun. If the weather turns really bad, I’ll bail. No fun in a tent.
