    I’ll be there. I’m aiming to go to Rock City in the morning and get back to York in time for the Bishopthorpe Traverse before falling through the door at Brew York.

    I’ll be driving and may have a space in my car. Plans are still to be firmed up.

    Two places are currently available in the hut for the Patterdale weekend. Anyone wanting to join in please get in touch ASAP. The cost for two nights is £26. There will be a communal meal in the hut on Saturday night and will cost a few quid but will be organised nearer the time.
    Activities for the weekend will be tailored to the weather and personal objectives. Newcomers and less experienced members are welcome.

    I’m planning on heading over to Langdale on Friday morning. There are many options for a short walk or scrambling before heading to the hut. If anyone’s interested in an early start please get in touch.

    On Saturday I’m happy to lead a group of less experienced club members on a shortish non technical walk. Again, there are loads of options in the vicinity of the hut whether up on the fell tops or in the valleys. This is a perfect opportunity for our non-climbing membership to venture forth into the mountaineering environment.

    On Sunday I’ll have to leave by midday due to a family commitment. Anyone else needing to get home at that time is welcome to a lift.
