    Steve, Dolly, Angela and moi are off to bothies in Knoydart but not leaving till Friday. So might climb but I rather think the weather will be against it.

    I have noted from TV that it is Yorkshire flower show today so hope traffic is not too dense

    Loch Steve and I have just arranged to go to Brimham I think as suggested last Thursday. Its a good call at this date as both the bracken and the midges should still be down. The light should last till about 8.40. (“Twas 8.25 at Scigdale last week). Anyway we have arranged to leave Heworth at 2.30 and Acomb at 3pm in case anyone else can catch the early bird express

    Loch and I now plan to leave at 2.30 and possibly do a little exploring at the far (east) end of Barkers Crags before returning to Scot Crag

    PS I suppose I really should have said W. H for “Wishing and Hoping” so I’ll have to trust that the Dusty Springfield fan club won’t throw me out.
