I’ll be heading to the Red Goat on Tuesday evening. Should be there at about 5pm for a socialble climb and maybe a pizza afterwards. I expect that there will be a few others there too.
Thursday club climbing will be aiming for Almscliff. The weather looks like it will be warm but breezy. Updates on WhatsApp are handy of you’re going to Almscliff or elsewhere. The weekend looks like it will be good weather for outdoor activities. No plans as yet but feel free to post ideas here or on WhatsApp.
This year’s first aid course is being organised again by Charley S and is set for the 28th and 29th of November. Places are still available. Please give the course some serious consideration to make sure your skills and know-how are up to date before you get caught out in the wilderness. Next week (the 6th of August) will be Fox pub night. I’m going to be in Blackpool for a cultural weekend of live music but I’ll be thinking of you when Slaughter and the Dogs are on stage in the Empress Ballroom. Maybe.
