Parthian Lock-in: Sunday 12th of November 6pm-9pm

Hi all

Just setting up a separate thread for organising the Parthian Lock-in.

I’m waiting on a response back from Sam at Parthian about suggested dates etc. and logistics, but the event will be on a weekend between 17:00-20:00, and will cost ~£10pp for climbing (times and prices still TBC).

Sam also mentioned the possibility of having some masterclasses running, for example:

BETTER BELAYING CLASSES [this could be for lead belaying as well]
MASTERCLASS IN FOOTWORK & TECHNIQUES
LEAD CLIMBING HAZARD AWARENESS COURSE

I also wondered if people would want to combine the lock-in with a meal after the session (or maybe some pizza during the lock-in?)

In the meantime please post below if you’re interested in joining, and answering the following questions please:

1. Any dates you can’t do (we’re currently looking at either Sat or Sun for the lock-in)
2. are you signed off as a ‘competent climber’ at Parthian already (no problem if you aren’t, just trying to work out logistics at the moment)
3. if you’re interested in the training Sam mentioned OR if there’s something else you’d be interested in learning about (no guarantees we’ll be able to cover everything but I can ask!)
