    Derek, Neil,

Great stuff. I’ve added you both to the WhatsApp group.

I’m just trying to confirm who wants to come on this trip as it’s far more casual than usual – ie no hut booked so no focal point.

At the moment, Gav, Ewart and I are looking to park at the west end of Ennerdale, walk in and then climb on Pillar Rock on the Saturday and perhaps then a shorter route in Ennerdale on the Sunday (I need to be back in Filey by later afternoon).

Tracey and Mike are looking at the Tophet Wall on Gable on the Saturday.

Derek – any thoughts on what you want to do?

    Any other takers?

So, so tempted but I can’t go – work will definitely be in the way. Let me know if there is anything that I can do help.

I know there’s been not much comment of late about this planned weekend. Just to remind everyone that Gav and I are still looking to do this, we’re still looking at going pretty light (no hut booked and it’s a long walk to the pub!) and we’re still hoping that it will be cracking fun.

As ever, everyone is welcome. Ewart, Derek, Tracey – are you still wanting to come? Hopefully, you’ll be saying yes!

I’ll post a bit more later in the week about where we’re looking to camp, possible parking places, routes that might interest people (for climbers, walkers, scramblers, fell runners etc etc) and hopefully entice a few more people to come and have a bit of a giggle!
