    I’ll be going too. I will take my car and can pick up en route from Easingwold to the Knavesmire before getting together and heading to Hull. If anyone would like a lift please let me know. After returning to York I’ll be abandoning my car somewhere near the Knavesmire and checking out rumours of Bishy Road festivities

    I’ve just looked at availability at the CIC hut and it’s now fully booked. Shame. Despite the lack of space in the hut, I’m more than happy to head north before the weekend or extend after and stay wherever is best. Whether mountaineering, climbing or taking in the view, I’m happy to go. I will be at the first aid course next weekend and my attendance on Thursdays will improve within a couple of weeks from today when I become a man of leisure (sort of)
