    Hi Linda and Mike. Very sorry to hear about YDH visit and I hope all is going well now. It’s a pity you’re missing a truly wonderful weekend of… ….errr… …dampness.

    I anticipate leaving York sometime after 4pm on Friday. My car may be full, containing Dolly, Caroline and Marjan.
    As there is only one kettle between all of us, I’ll be taking a Jetboil to make brews and do my flask. It is also understood that this is not a bunkhouse, its a camping barn. So we will all – sorry, each – need a mug, bowl & cutlery.
    As we are eating in the pub on Saturday night, food needs are 2 x breakfasts, 2 x hill pack-ups, and any late-night biscuits or marshmallows to taste.

    Tenk and I are hooking up on the A1 at Aberford at 9.50 in order to get to Huddersfield by 10.30.
    I can offer lifts from York at 9.30 am.
    If the main liftees are Marjan and possibly Caroline, the best RV will be the Fox car park, especially if it is raining.
