    Thanks Sarah.
    I’ve only got 8 more days at home before I go on various trips extending till 22nd September.
    Hence I cannot do anything more in the short term, but if, maybe, someone who just did some first aid at work 20 years ago, should now decide to update themselves, we could check with the course provider for available dates late in the year or in January.
    So fingers crossed there might be a seventh by late September.

    I have 4 in car from Heworth so best plan is to meet at Steve Greens house just up the road from you at 4.50 then share out all the passengers.

    Now Brimham, oops. Plans gang agley (as Rabbie Burns would have it).
    Whilst the above-mentioned conversation did indeed take place at lunchtime, I’ve now asked Tenk if he would mind swapping to Brimham, just for me. Reason is, it may allow me to meet up with daughter whose own plans have changed.
    Sorry for any confusion……. but as we are very familiar with both venues, I hope no problems

    Unfortunately I think we are pretty well at the end of the line on this, unless there is a last-minute surge.
    The arrangement is, that if we can get 7 of the 12 places filled, then Club funds under-write the remainder. However, up to now, there are only 4 names viz Caroline, Marjan, Neil and Henry. We were not able to get a quorum in 2013, and so there is not a basis of 3-year-old certificates needing renewal this year. Could there possibly be another 3 this week ???
    I’ll be going away a fortnight on Thursday for a series of absences which will take me to late September, so time is now very short.
    Condolences to the 4 who were interested….. but don’t despair. We’ll be trying to run a course next year when Tenk and myself (at least) are up for renewal.
