    The rolling moors on a warm summer evening. Ah.
    I expect to leave about 5.30 after making my wife’s tea, so could offer a lift to any other later travellers

    Great news that Andrew M. and Penny have now joined in with this. So it looks as though we have 8 people all available on the weekend of 4th-5th November.
    I have also confirmed the availability of the course provider Nigel Smee for that weekend. Therefore if all 8 of us can definitely commit, then the course can be definitely booked, and we’ll probably sell the remaining 4 places. (We always have succeeded in the past).
    I will email participants about money matters.
    As Peri says, you need up to date training if you seriously want to help your mate. I count 3 helicopter rescues and 2 serious RTA’s during my time in YMC “without others besides not mentioned here ” (As Chaucer’s Wife of Bath put it.)

    I think we have six for the course so far….. Mike & Maria, Peri, Marjan, Tenk and myself. Although not everyone has filled in the Doodle Poll just yet, the weekends of 4/5 November and 9/10 December seem to be potential best options. If we can make the numbers up to 7, the course can be confirmed to run. So who else values this half price bargain ?

    Once again, I feel it’s only doing the decent thing if I feed my wife before going out: so I’ll be leaving at the later-than-usual time of about 5.45. (In case anyone needs to travel later….)
