    Loch and I also had this conversation last night. Assuming it continues fine weather, Almscliff could be the right choice.
    Won’t be worth going to t’wall for a short spell later, especially given the price hike. I am minded to take my £8 saving and blow half of it on fish and chips in Knaresborough

    My friend Paul and I now have this weekend Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th firmly pencilled in, still hoping that the weather will encourage us to get well north. Another object for us both would be Slioch, which ‘owes us one” because in 2008 we did it in thick mist and raining heavily. I would like my money’s worth some time !
    If any York MC member fancies adding Thursday 12th and /or Friday 13th to make a longer trip, let me know.

    Angela and I are set to pick up Steve G around 16.50.

    Matthew….. if no further passengers emerge, we can probably get 4 in one car ?
