It sticks up pretty prominently in the landscape and there will be a whole line of parked cars. A stile through a stone wall leads into a grazing field. Uphill gently across the field & path goes through a second stile & veers right. Fork right to stay lower down and you will arrive at the Low Man face.

Loch and I now have a plan to meet at t’Cliff at 4.30 pm. (Unless Loch is delayed).
Nan you have my phone no of course.
Obviously we’ll spend a while on Low Man from Rough Crack to Square Chimney, but if not visible there, we may be on High Man eg Birds Nest or Traditional Climb.

The midges could be a serious consideration.
I am in Leeds during the day tomorrow, so from a purely personal point of view, a West Yorks venue would be best. I wouldn’t mind Almscliff. Loch thinks we go there too much, albeit I’ve only been about 3 times this year.

As I’m still a bit jet-lagged after getting back from hols yesterday, plus need to pack for Scotland trip leaving tomorrow morning, I think I’ll just go to the pub later on.
Pity Brimham is not a bit closer to York !

Forecast for Saturday is now out from MWIS. No wind, no rain, lots of sunshine.
There are three of us en route for the North-West I think
