Middle ground between Christmas and New Year. I’ve found a bit of free time and there’s great weather over in the west.
I’m planning to go to the eastern edge of the Lake District on Tuesday (30th Dec) for a walk up to High Street in a circular route from Mardale Head car park. Distance of about 8 miles and about 800m of ascent. A good, healthy, non-technical leg stretch. My plan is to start walking at 10am, (hopefully) before the car park fills up. Happy to give lifts from Easingwold if anyone wants to get here for 7:30ish or can pick up en-route or meet at the car park. Let me know if you’re interested.
Other than that it’s an unplanned week for club activity. Please post on WhatsApp or here if you’re looking to meet up for climbing or walking.
The first Thursday of the month is also this week and coincides with New Year’s Day. We’ll move the Fox pub night back a week to the 8th of January.
Cheers!
