First Thursday of the month is this week so on Thursday evening it’s the Fox pub night. I’ll be at the pub for 8pm and hope to see plenty of people with their plans for winter mountaineering. Please note that there is still one place in the hut available on the first winter weekend in Feb.
Tuesday is Red Goat and a pizza for me. I’ll be there by 5pm.
Wednesday is Freeklime.
Thursday club climbing will be at Partian. I’ll be there before 5pm and leaving to get to the Fox for 8. Others may go to the Red Goat or Freeklime before heading to the pub.
The usual unpredictable weather forecast for the weekend makes it difficult to plan anything for outdoors. It’s been great to see so much recent activity on the WhatApp group and many members getting involved with spontaneous trips to the indoor walls and courses.
Finally, a polite reminder that at the end of January the 2023 digital membership card will expire. A current membership card is required for discounted rate entry and for other benefits of club membership. If you haven’t already renewed your membership for 2024 please do so asap.
