This weekend there’s a group of ten heading up to Crianlarich. Hopefully the weather will be good enough for something worthwhile. Pack for all eventualities.
On a slightly different note, this year at the AGM I will be standing down as Club Chair. My five year stint is coming to an end so a bright, articulate, positve and engaging replacement will be needed to replace the drab and inferior specimen you’ve had to put up with for so long. The committee only has 5 members but is active with the relatively light workload shared between us. If anyone has any inclination towards helping out as a committee member, even as Chair, please let me know and I can give some idea of what is involved. The Club Constitution https://www.yorkmc.org.uk/membership/york-mc-constitution/ gives an outline of the duties and responsibilities. There are two more committee meetings before the AGM in November and a potential new committee member could join to see how those meetings work. Benefits of being on the committee include choosing the color of tee shirts, being involved in trip-planning for the year and having an input to decide how our money is made or spent. I look forward to being inundated with your messages.
