It looks like the weather hasn’t discouraged anyone from getting outside and venturing into the hills near and far. Great to see so many WhatsApp posts.
This week remains unsettled but is expected to warm up towards the bank holiday weekend. Perhaps more opportunity for outdoor ventures.
On Tuesday the Red Goat session will kick off at about 5pm. I’ll be there but finishing by 7 for a pizza and committee meeting.
Thursday evening at the moment has showers in the forecast so Almscliff will be the initial plan for club clmbing with Harrogate Wall as a back-up option. I have another commitment on Thursday so can’t make climbing. If, however, the forecast improves the venue may change to Scugdale and I’ll post here and on WhatsApp.
Over the bank holiday weekend there may be the chance of short-notice plans. I’ve not been issued my orders for the weekend yet so, although not certain, could possibly fit in a day out local walking or climbing.
