Another week of wonderful, dry, sunny weather so plenty of options to go outside climbing or walking or anything else.
Tuesday evening will be rather warm in the Red Goat but no doubt there will be someone there. Derek and myself are heading up to Scugdale, leaving York around 3ish. We’ll be at the crag through the evening and pop into the Black Horse, Swainby when we’ve finished climbing. Let us know if you want to meet up or if you have other climbing plans.
On Thursday some of us are heading north for a trip to Skye. The weather’s looking good there too. Club Climbing can be at Almscliff or Brimham but I’ll not be around so please can you post here or on WhatsApp to say where you’re going and when. The pub for afterwards can be nominated on the day.
Good weather over the weekend will open up opportunities almost everywhere. I understand that Alex, Gav M and Rich are heading to Langdale for a few days and are happy for anyone who would like to meet up to join them there. There’s plenty of walking or scrambling around Langdale if you’re not keen on climbing.
