THAT THERE DAVID HOCKNEY, HE’S GOT NOTHING ON ME

So in the glorious weather yesterday and today I have painted/coated/stained:-

1. Owl… WD40
2. Heron WD40
3. Fencing, green, approx 28 square metres
4. Decking, oak. approx 12 square metres
5 Decking edge strips… mahogany. about 10 m run
6. Cast iron vase, grey
7. Two vases, black.

So that’s about 45 square metres of surface covered, in a nice palette of garden colours.

Meanwhile, that David Hockney, how much area has he covered, eh ? Drawing away on that iPad of his, I’d be surprised if he’s even finished 2 square feet this week. That’s about 0.5% of 45 square metres.

So who is the prolific Northern painter ???

Will no-one write to the Tate on my behalf ?
