I have identified a couple of weekends with my friend Paul to visit Scottish mountains. Who knows, on a crisp autumn morning with the sky blue, we may tread the first snows, or with the autumn sun behind us, wave at brocken spectres on shreds of cloud below.
    Or maybe not.
Anyway, for anyone interested, the weekends marked in smudged pencil are:
    November 9-10
    December 7-8

Looking forwards beyond the trip to Killin in 2 weeks’ time for Mr Greens Compleation, I thought I’d just post this reminder of a couple of dates which are in my diary for November 9-10 and December 7-8. So if you fancy the roaring of the stags over the fading heather, or your breath forming clouds on a crisp white morning, speak up. (but don’t ask for a guarantee !!)

(OBVS the Nov date coincides with Remembrance on Helvellyn. This is how the cookie crumbles some years. If it’s too dreich for the Highlands, I’ll be on Helvellyn)

Hey, so I’m new a new student to the city and have just signed upto this mountaineering club! This trip definitely sounds like something I’d enjoy!
How do I get involved or get more info?

    Hello

Daniella, welcome to the club, I’m glad you joined and look forward to meeting soon. Andrew, Daniella and I have been chatting for some weeks and while she will struggle with our Thursday meets, she very much wants to get involved with Trips and has good experience, I believe a Mountain Leader, is that right?

I hope you can make the Italian Social on November 14th?

Hi Lea, great to hear from you! Would be fab if you can join us in December, weather permitting. I hope your studies are going well. Take care.

    Penny
