    Hi,

It looks like there is going to be a good turn out on Saturday for the walk up Ingleborough. The walk will depart from the car park in Horton at 10am, there is a route that goes over Simons Fell and take in a little train ride back to the car park, which sounds interesting and lovely, so please make sure you have some pennies on you for the ride home so we have options.

The forecast is looking very windy and some rain so please ensure you are fully kitted out for all weather conditions and bring plenty of warm drinks and food with you.

Please continue to use the forum and / or the whats app chat to let me know you are coming. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday in the Horton car park, for a 10am departure and a fabulous day on the hills.

The train journey from Ribblehead to Horton in Ribblesdale takes just 6 minutes and costs £3.50 (less with a Senior Railcard).

There are trains at 16.14 and 17.42 but not mid-afternoon.
A descent to Ribblehead for say 3.00 would oblige walkers to spend time in the pub at Ribblehead.

    Hi All,

My apologies but I won’t be able to make tomorrow’s outing as once thought. M’lady has been quite ill this week and I am having to look after her. Not with Covid though which is a plus.

Have a great day, hopefully catch up with you all soon.

    Tris
