The clocks will shortly go back, and sometimes at this season, we have arranged a night time activity. Examples have varied from a semi-formal night nav exercise, to the night traverse of Blencathra.
So I’m posting to gauge whether there are any expressions of interest. My wife is recovering steadily after the hip op and will now OK at home for an evening.
I have in mind an uncomplicated walk in the dark on the North York Moors on a night to be arranged (depends on weather and other plans). There is a full moon on 1st and 31st October although that’s not essential. This plan would be for up to 6 people to travel separately and RV at the start point about 7pm, getting home for midnight. If numbers overflow, we will split into separate groups.
    Any takers ?

    Hi All,

A nighttime walk sounds like fun. You can count us both in. No preference on dates for October for us, either date you suggested would be fine.

    Thanks

Hi, it does sound fun, so long as I’m not in charge of the map…
