I’d just like to encourage those who did not make the Traverse to get together and watch carefully in case the weather forecast for 1st or 2nd December is suitable.
Our trip on 11th November went very well. We had excellent clear sometimes starry weather (moonrise was too late for us). A route up Mousthwaite Comb, over the FB and up Glenderamackin river and Foule Crag made an easy way to the summit and the round trip was 3 hr 15 min including star-gazing time and watching all the twinkly lights below.
Caroline pointed out that the next full moon is a Cold Moon and a Super Moon, so go for it if the conditions are fine !!
