The hut is a bit old school but there are hot showers, a big kitchen and a nice lounge.
Fun nearby includes Pinnacle Ridge and the other scrambles on St Sundays, lake related antics and plenty of walking. It’s also a good jumping off point for the rest of the lake district.
It’s a two or three hour drive from York and the booking is for Friday and Saturday nights. The cost is £18/night so I’ll ask for £40 to cover a communal meal on Saturday evening. There is camping nearby at Side Farm.
Expressions of interest in this thread please. If it looks like a go-er, I’ll ask for payment up front to secure places.
