    Despite the passage of a Low across southern England, Geoff Monk at MWIS thinks this lunchtime, that Saturday will be half-reasonable in the Lakes. The Park ranger says that whilst the snow cover of 2 weeks since has retreated a lot, there is still quite a bit on NE aspects, and the Edges. Dolly & I had pencilled the day in:- anyone else fancy a look see ?

    Scotland looks like it could be good – does anyone fancy a trip north? Otherwise I might be interested in the lakes. Will be at the pub tonight to discuss.

    I have a commitment for Sunday so I’m probably a Saturday-only person this weekend myself
