I’ve received the attached email from the University of York Mountaineering Club. Their gear secretary has some surplus stock and is wondering if any of our club members would be interested in purchasing before it goes on general sale. A very thoughtful and kind offer.

Hi,
The club is selling a tent and some crampons as they are no longer being used and we are raising some money for trad racks. As the local mountaineering club, I am wondering whether any of your members would like to purchase them before I advertise them on Facebook Marketplace in May.
For sale are: 1 used Vango Force 10 Mark 3 cotton tent, miscellaneous Force 10 tent poles and 5 as new Kahtoola KTS steel crampons.
