A question about the Ainsty is that it might be rather far out of centre for some, — for example non car owners coming to see us for the first time.
However, it might well be an idea to take a look this evening— on the basis that the Fox is likely to be “busy” again after Ladies Day at the races.

Ladies day? That might not be a bad thing…. Being at The Fox that is!
I suppose looking at the bigger picture for The Ainsty the bus route isn’t that great neither, I reckon somewhere that has a decent bus route as well as being a bit closer ( I know it was originally my idea) the Carlton Hotel might be a better option as its on a good bus route, plenty of parking and is quite large?

** Please note that the clubhas decided to try out The Ainsty for this week only, with a view to possibly trying the Knavesmire next week. **

Well last night was ‘useful” in that we are clearly able to eliminate the Ainsty from our enquiries.
Attention now turns to the Knavesmire plus any other possibilities accessible from Nunnery Lane Car Park.
All reports from drinkers in such establishments gratefully received.
