Hi all,
I’m planning on heading down to the lakes this Saturday for a spot of hill walking and ticking off a few wainwright’s. Maybe even some scrambling/climbing depending on the routes.
The weather for Saturday is cloudy with scattered showers but periods of sun towards the afternoon.
I’m planning to head down Friday night and stop in one of the youth hostels, there are still some private bunk rooms available for roughly between £40 – £60 for the night which have between 4-6 bunk beds in.
If anyone wants join me feel free to get in touch and we can make a plan.
Can also arrange to meet people if they would rather drive down saturday morning.

Great stuff, so far Harry will be joining us first thing on Saturday morning and is camping Saturday night (2 nights is potentially an option but there is no accommodation so tents will be required). I think josh is joining for the Friday evening and Saturday, heading back Saturday night. Frank is potentially coming, when and if is still to confirm.
So logistics wise there will be people coming from York for either options if anyone needs lifts etc.
Penny, yes let me know what you plan. If you do come I’ll assume you will be in the van and won’t need accommodation booking?

Sounds great. What time will drivers be leaving York on Friday? I probably can’t get away super early. Stupid work.
