So this of course is about going up the highest hills in Scotland, England, and Wales all in a 24-hour time slot. IE Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon. The 24 hours starts when you set foot on the approach to Ben Nevis, and ends when you get back to the vehicle after climbing Snowdon. Our Landlord at the Knavesmire, Stuart Weston, is organising such an event some time near the longest day of the coming summer. He is looking for a team of people to join the event. There will be some opportunity to raise money for a cause such as “Mend Our Mountains” or similar. The trip could be either at a weekend (better if you’re short of time off work) or midweek (easier and quicker driving conditions) the choice to suit the interested participants.
So if you want to do this one, please either have a chat to Stuart down at the pub, or email him at stuartweston555@yahoo.co.uk E
