I understand from a discussion in the pub yesterday that Orrin fancies a walk, and wants Steve to come with him. My wife and I have a plan to get out to Braithwaite on Saturday morning and go for a stroll (final route / objectives to be decided but more than likely involving Grisedale Pike, Hopegill Head, Grasmoor, Crag Hill and Causey Pike). So that is virtually one car load (possible space for one more well behaved human) (MWIS currently looking very favourable – unlikely to rain and 80% cloud-free summits. A factor 50 day methinks)
I understand others may be interested in a day out. If so, please record your intentions so we can finalise logistics:

Twistleton (near Ingleton – Yorkshire Dales) rock climbing was discussed.

We’ll be down south, so won’t be able to join you. Have fun!

I’m up for climbing. However I could do with getting back at a decent time as off to a Kill Bill Fancy dress party, which I need to go and scour the charity shops for in this lovely rain! 🙂

I am remaining somewhat guiltily indecisive on this. I may well be out elsewhere with my wife
