    The current forecast for Saturday looks OK.
    Bright sunshine, excellent visibility. Ground frozen , maybe attractively draped in white. There will be a strong Northerly wind, so likely very chilly with occasional showers.
    Anyone up for a stroll in the Dales or the Lake District ?

    Excellent. I have to be in a York pub for a birthday party by 6.30 pm so perhaps the Dales might be best, but we’ll see how the weather details pan out in next 48 hrs
