This week – 19th to the 25th of January

It’s the first trip of 2026 this week. Four of us are heading over to Italy for a few days of ice-climbing and maybe a pizza if we’re lucky.

Tuesday will be the normal Red Goat session from about 5pm.

Thursday will be Harrogate Wall for club climbing. There may be new and potential members hoping to meet up with the club. It would be appreciated if those that are going to the wall let us know on WhatsApp so we can direct prospective members in your direction. Expect to head to Roosters Tap Room after climbing.

The forecast for the week ahead is looking damp and uninspiring, however, the cold weather is expected to return and fingers crossed that winter conditions in Scotland continue to develop as we head towards the Aviemore trip in February.

Membership renewals for 2026 are still due. Please pay your £38 to the club bank account. The cull will take place at the end of the month so please pay up if you intend to remain with the club.
