Just got back from our successful trip to Italy. Must be time for a pizza! Red Goat tomorrow, Tuesday session starting at around 5pm and after a gentle climb I will probably be dining at the goat.
Thursday evening will be club climbing at Harrogate. I expect to be there before 5 and plan on going to Rooster’s afterwards. Next Thursday looks like it could be a tad busy at the wall (thanks for the heads up Elise) so I’ll check with the staff and members before considering a different venue for the 5th Feb (which will also be Fox night).
So far there are no fixed plans for the weekend. It’s a somewhat uninspiring weather forecast everywhere for any outside activity.
I haven’t had time today to check how many have recently paid their renewal fee for 2026 but will do so very soon. If you intend to rejoin the club can you pay your £38 to the club bank account asap. Derek will, no doubt, be sending your up-to-date membership cards in the near future.
The Aviemore winter trip is fast approaching and the weather looks like it may be heading in a very good direction. The Fox next week could be a good idea for those wanting to share thoughts, ask advice, share other people’s plans or borrow kit. However, if you can’t make the pub and have any burning questions please get in touch. I’ll be posting more information soon. The Tamanna Indian Restaurant is already booked for Saturday evening.
