First of all I’d like to thank Jenny for organising the Christmas Party last Friday. I had a brilliant full day out and thoroughly enjoyed the event. I totally lost track of time towards the end of the evening and had to make a hasty retreat so despite seeing so many regular and less-frequent members I must apologise for not getting to speak to everyone. I hope you enjoyed the evening and judging by how quickly it went, food included, all appeared a big success.
This week will be a standard week. Tuesday session at the Red Goat will start at about 5. I’ll be there and probably stay for a pizza afterwards.
Thursday evening will be club climbing at Harrogate Wall. 5pm ish start for me. Roosters Tap Room after.
The weather at the weekend is looking like a continuation of wet and unpredictable. I’m up for a Sunday trip across to the Big Depot if anyone else is interested. Happy to get there for a morning start but flexible on timing. It’d be good to see less regular attenders too if anyone’s around. Keep an eye on WhatsApp for updates.
Membership renewals are able to be paid now for 2026. Please pay for your renewal by bank transfer as this saves us having to pay a transaction fee. Your membershp card for 2026 will be emailed to you as soon as we can after receiving your £38 payment for the year.
The following couple of weeks are likely to be less well structured with Christmas followed by New Year. If I can think of a meaningful plan to fit in with the seasonal shenanigans I’ll post something if and when I get chance. But if anyone else has a grand idea and they want to share it, please don’t be shy.
