    Time to bump this thread to the top again.

    I am planning to head up to Skye on Thursday evening after work (30th April) with an overnight stop somewhere around the Perth / Pitlochry area. So an appropriate walk /climb /scramble is planned on the mainland on Friday getting to Slig late afternoon / evening. I will be staying on in Scotland for the Tuesday and Wednesday (5 and 6 May) aswell and then meeting up with my wife in Inverness on the 6th May and vanishing for a couple of days (significant birthday celebration) I can therefore offer transport up to Skye and a couple of extra days at the end, but not transport home. (I have, however researched trains and a pre-booked ticket on the 07.55 or 10.45 from Inverness to York on the 6th or 7th May currently costs around 40 to 50 quid).

    Anyone care to join me, I can squeeze a couple of people in the car.

    Hi Matthew
    I would like to come along on Thursday 30th if possible, please. I will need to head back on Monday or Tuesday at the latest though, so I’ll have to find another solution for getting home. Is anybody driving home on Monday or Tuesday with space in their car and would be willing to give me a lift, please?

    Skye 2015 – Simon has dropped out !!!
    Was planning to travel up on Wednesday and return on Monday.
    All plans now scuppered due to Simon’s unavailibility.
    Do not have access to my car
    Seeking lift there and back now
    Travel plans are flexible (to a degree). Will change annual leave if necessary.
    Any takers?
    Will have beer and crisps !!

    Now then Dave, I’m planning on going up on the wednesday with Tenk and Neil and there maybe a space in Neil’s car for you but best give him a shout. Alternatively I could take my van up. We can sort something out either way so don’t cancel the leave!!

    Thanks Guy; I appreciate it.
    I could, at a pinch, wangle my car for the trip but depends on a few things. it would be nice to have a go at the ridge on the Thursday or Friday, weather permitting of course, but how does that affect your plans with Tenk and Neil?.
    I’ll just have to be flexible as much as I can. Are you climbing Thursday to discuss?
