    As you may remember, there was talk of a trip to Skye for the first bank holiday weekend in May (2 – 5 May 2014). We have unfortunately not been successful in booking the Sligachan bunkhouse, as originally planned, but there will be sufficient space at the Portree Independent Hostel (£18 per night).

    In order to get the trip booked, we need to know what the likely numbers are ASAP.

    So if you are planning on coming, please let us know by Friday 14th February at the latest. Once we know the numbers, we’ll get it booked.

    This should be a good trip, as there is masses to do on Skye – walking, climbing, scrambling & kayaking. There’s also a little ridge that seems to be fairly popular…

    Hiya

    They have a no dog policy at the Hostel, so I’m going to see if I can find elsewhere to stay on Skye for the bank holiday so that I can come and join in the activities with you lot 🙂
