Hi All,
I was planning to head out to the lakes on the weekend of 17th/18th of August to do some hiking and camping.

I had in mind a 35mile loop in mind across the Helvellyn range, passing through Grasmere and back across the High raise range just west of Thirlmere. Spending the evening near Stickle Tarn.

May even head over to Black moss pot for a swim as I’ve heard there is great wild swimming there!

I know after a few conversations at the goat last night a few people are interested in joining.

If anyone is interested in joining me then please post on the thread and we can make a plan!

hiking, camping wild swimming all sounds awesome!
As mentioned yesterday, I would be up for it!
Unfortunately I don’t have any camping equipment with me in york..

I am hoping to be in the hills in the second half of next week and maybe into the weekend. Priority is Scotland and Mr Green’s last few Munros to be gathered in; but depending on events…………..

Hi Lea
I hear from Andrew that he is going to lend you a tent. If you need more equipment such as a thermarest map/sleeping bag/cooking utensils etc I could lend it to you. You could collect it when you collect the tent from Andrew ( my house is a 10 minutes walk from Andrew).
