Red Goat session on Tuesday. I’m hoping to be there for 5. Maybe a beer after but probably no pizza.
Thursday will be evening climbing at Harrogate Wall. I’ll start early but will have to leave at about 7 due to a busy and long weekend starting first thing on Friday morning.
A couple of events in October have been added to the events and notices page. Pocklington Arts Centre are hosting a film night and Harrogate Wall are having a ‘lights out’ night on Halloween – sponsored by Petzl, should be of interest to some of our members 😊. https://www.yorkmc.org.uk/events-calendar/
Accomodation has been booked in Aviemore for the Winter Weekend. I’ll post on the forum soon. There is a group of four of us heading to Cogne, North Italy for ice climbing in January and I’ll be posting more information should anyone else wish to join us.
Dan S is hoping to get a group together for a ‘lock-in’ night at Harrogate Wall. This is a private arrangement between our club and Harrogate Wall where we climb after normal opening hours and have exclusive use of the wall. The staff will be there to offer informal coaching. A few years ago we held a similar event which was a great success and a very social occasion. Please respond to Dan’s WhatsApp post to register your interest.
