Club Trip to Langdale, Central Lakes.
When: 19th to 21st June 26
Where: Raw Head, Fell and Rock Climbing Hut, Langdale.
Cost: £40 per person (2 nights and inc. Sat night communal meal)
(If you are a member of the FRCC will pay members rates – £32 for the weekend)
Bed availability: 10 male and 6 female (separate dorms)
Langdale is a beautiful valley central to the Lake District. There is plenty of climbing locally and some excellent walks and scrambling on the Langdale Pikes and further afield in the Scafell area.
Within easy reach of Raw Head there are five pubs. Up the valley are the New Dungeon Ghyll, the Stickle Barn and the Old Dungeon Ghyll (ODG). Down the valley are the Wainwright’s Inn and the Britannia Inn in Elterwater. All serve food.
If you would like to spend the summer solstice on the fells of the Lakes, please let me know. The are limited spaces for male and female so the I guess it will be on a first come first serve basis with a reserve list.
