    Dolly and I have pencilled in the last weekend 28th -29th October for our next fix of mountain summits, scrambling or bothying.
    As usual there will be no fixed plan, just ideas, and the weather will tell us what to do.
    Anyone else wanting the spring o’ the heather and the tang of the sea-lochs, smoke of the fire, or burning of the uisge, let me know !

    I would have loved to have come on this trip, however we have the grandkids that weekend and will be seeing dinosaurs at Temple Newsham.
    Assuming that I survive the dinosaurs I will be ok for another trip to a hut or bothy before Christmas.
