    Weather forecasts continue to look rubbish. However the telly is more optimistic than MWIS with regard to Sunday. Anyone fancy a modest ramble…… Penyghent for example ?

    yes, I could be in for this. Dales-ward ramble sounds good.
    The weather forecast for Sunday is nicer and more interesting (colder and sunnier) than when I looked a day ago…

    Very good. Lets see how the forecast develops and then make some plans. First thoughts last night were for a 7.45 / 8.00 departure from York on Sunday.
