Who is up for a night walk on the Moors ?
This idea keeps cropping up in conversations so I said I’d post. Asking for expressions of interest. Either (i) a walk on t’moors in t’dark (Heathcliff) or (ii) more emphasis on navigation, walking on compass bearings, pacing, finding small features and the like (ML type nav).
WHEN ??
Could do it on a Friday night, get home late….. suitable if not working Saturday. {And if not going to Scotland !!]
OR, could be a Thursday night instead of Harrogate wall. Sunset on Thursday 23 March is 6.25, (full dark about 7.15) so that will be the last Thursday before the clocks go forwards. We could do 7pm to 10 pm walkabout on the NYMoors.
So are there folks who would be interested and if there is a shortlist we can try to fix a date
