HILL DAY SUNDAY 2ND OCTOBER

I am considering a day in the Lake District (or maybe Dales) on Sunday.
Our esteemed Geoff Monk says “By Sunday, showers few and far between. Winds will fall fairly light most areas into the weekend; cloud will clear many summits and visibility will be excellent or superb.
I have some new boots which need a ramble before heading north to the Gaeltacht.
Anybody for a hill day ?
