The condition which has affected our beloved Reynard, is evidently gaining ground. Two weeks ago, a volume reduction only happened as Dave was “going for” the speaker. Last week, we had to shout at each other. Last night, the back room was completely full and all we got was a shrug “We’re busy tonight”.
The (constantly changing) bar staff don’t know us, and its obvious that the management aren’t interested. In the face of the very popular Quiz which fills the pub, we are now merely an inconvenience.
So now a short Pub Quiz of our very own. (1) do we move? (2) where?
Must be right side of town for crags /a space we can claim /car parking.
Contenders last night included a return to Bay Horse (parking problem ??) or the Knavesmire which is now run by ex-Fox landlord Stuart Weston.
It’s a very sad necessity to broach this subject and so everybody’s views will be greatly appreciated.

I agree with Andrew that sadly we may have to abandon the Fox.
    Knavesmire sounds good!

Its the Ebor meeting at York Racecourse this week, the busiest race meeting of the year so its not the best week to move pubs especially to the Knavesmire.
I guess we will have to stick with the Fox for one more week?

    At least that, I agree,
What do people think about the Knavesmire before we jump ?
Has anyone been to see ?
I’ll try to pop in misen when I get a mo, but have been away for a couple of days

If not the Knavesmire, what are people’s thoughts on the Ainsty as they’ve ample parking and it looks relatively big from the outside?
Although may I add I’ve never been in myself.

    Dan.
