The showers will abate tomorrow afternoon.
I will be in Leeds with my grandchildren so from a purely personal point of view, Almscliff or Brimham would get my vote.
Loch worries about Almscliff becoming stale. On t’other hand, the draconian car park charges at Brimham could work out at £1 per midge bite if yer lucky, or 25p per bite if yer unlucky.
    Feelin’ lucky Dude ?
    Who votes for where ?

another option is here: http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=1873 pretty close to both Leeds and York, and gets sun in the evening, quite small but has a few nice routes

I’d normally think of Hetchell as a sheltered location when its windy or showery, screened by the trees. Limited routes. A tad awkward for Mark or anyone from Harrogate ?

I`m easy on any of the above mentioned venues.

On 30th July I will be at Kendal Calling (The Glastonbury of the Lake District).
Have a great weekend guys & gals.
