It might be worthwhile looking at the following:

If anyone who is going doesn’t have winter kit (axe crampons etc.), there may be someone who is able to lend you some. It’s full winter conditions in the Cairngorms at the moment, so they’re definitely needed!

    Hi all,

Just to let you know, me, Nigel and Debs are travelling up together. Jen is travelling separately, as she’ll have her bike with her and is staying longer afterwards. Jesse is also coming on Saturday I think.

We are staying somewhere else – I’m not actually sure where – Debs booked it so she could bring her dog. I have, however, got a bed booked with you! I may flit – and spend a night here and a night there.

Please keep me in the loop with regards to what your plans are – I’d be very keen to get out on the hill with crampons, axe etc – although not actual winter climbing!!

Hope to see you all later, or tomorrow, or at some point over the weekend!

Mike and I are planning some general walking/mountaineering (grade I maximum) and will be happy to go with the flow. Looking forward to it & we’ll keep in touch with you re: doing a hill day on Saturday (although we’re not arriving until late tonight).

For those who are staying in the bunkhouse – remember to bring a sleeping bag!

    Hi

We are staying at Braemar Lodge, in Braemar. I think it is just 5 miles from the hut that rest of you are in.
I won’t be doing anything that requires any winter skills (and I think Nige is of the same opinion) so we will be forming a “mooching about” group! 🙂

    See you all up there
    Debs
