Hi all!  I'm heading to Morocco for a conference, but am planning to stick around and do some trekking in the jebel toubkal region… Does anyone have any experience here, or anywhere else in the Atlas mountains?  Any and all advice is appreciated.  ~ thanks ~

Hi,

 

I climbed Toubkal in the winter a few years ago. I recommend it. I did this particular trek with a guide, but I would imagine the route could be done without fairly easily. In the winter it took us 2 days ( 1night in the Toubkal refuge). The route we did wasn't technical, no need for ropes.

We started the trek in Imlill
