Newcastleton - Glentress - Innerleithen

April 25th-27th 2008

Just back from a three day mountain bike fest!

Tuze, Steph and myself left York Friday morning for an afternoon ride round Newcastleton's red route. The weather was over cast but dry.

At 10.5km long we were done in about an hour, so we headed of to do a bit more, a combination of red and blue routes filled the after noon before a short drive up to Peebles.

Saturday - We met up with Matt and Graham at Glentress and took in a lap of the black route with the addition of the red routes Spooky wood and Super 'G' sections in the middle. A big long day out but enjoyed by all.

Sunday - Steph, Matt, Graham and Tuze headed back to Glentress to do the red and blue routes, I met up with a couple of guys from our B&B (Martin and Leaky), who also wanted to do the Black at Innerleithen. Yo-ho... today I remembered my camera!

We then all met up in the Cafe at Glentress for one final loop of the Blue.

Tuze flashes by on the new Blue 'Falla Brae' decent.

Thanks to all for a great weekend.
